New converse

Stage One: My feet.
Stage Two: THE WORLD.

I also bought a pair of classic Dr-Who-style optical white with the red and blue trim, for when I tire of global domination and feel like being a Time Lord.

Retrospective addition to Xtin's New Year's Resolutions 2008: BLING THE FEET.

  2. TEH AWESUM.

I must purchase those immediately. And they have them in knee-socks! Nothing like a little Japanese porntacular element to one's hosiery, I always say.

I've been surprised by the ways in which last year's Happy Socks Initiative (http://www.flickr.com/photos/slimcoincidence/sets/72157594540783582/) changed my life. I should write about that when I get back home.

In short: you'll never regret Blinging the Feet.

  4. Krista, I believe you already. Right now I am wandering around making lentil soup in my favourite apron and my ruby-slipper converse, and I feel like I could take over the universe.

    Amazing!

I have another 2008 Bling Initiative going, but it may not be ... uh ...appropriate for the blog :)

  6. Heidi, my cool sometimes pink-haired friend! That is indeed what they are!

They come in black too. I feel that your husband requires a pair.

  7. Your feet are a thing of beauty and a joy forever.

We need matching mother-daughter pairs, and we need them NOW.

  10. But *you* have a Lego Millenium Falcon, Tom. I just cannot compete with you for either coolness or WOW-factor.

    But one can but try.

  12. Red sequinned chucks? And fatrobot can't think of anything perverted to say?

It's a sad, sad day in the blogosphere.

  13. Okay, I'm back, and I need to know if they are available in size 14 men's. 4E width.

Because I think they'd look perfect with a black suit and tie. (Once a year whether he needs it or not.)

  14. Tragically, Heidi, they don't -- they only go up to a 10. I think they think only chicks are going to wear them.

How very limited of them, is all I can say.

(They come in silver, too ...)
